Adding Your First Product to Elexbig

Here is a quick-start guide to adding your first product to Elexbig and getting it through the approval process.

Before You Start

Have these ready:

• Product photos (at least one, ideally 3 to 5)
• Product title (10 to 120 characters)
• Product description (at least 50 characters)
• Price in NG
• Stock quantity
• Category selection

Creating the Listing

1. Log in to your Vendor Dashboard at https://elexbig.com/vendor/dashboard
2. Go to Products > Add New Product
3. Enter your product title
4. Select the most appropriate category
5. Write your product description
6. Add up to 7 key features (bullet points)
7. Upload product photos
8. Set the price and stock quantity
9. If you have product variations (sizes, colours), add them in the Variations section
10. Set the product status to Pending to submit for review
11. Click Save

What Happens Next
Once you submit your product on Elexbig, it will enter the product review process. Our team will review the product to ensure it meets Elexbig's product quality and listing requirements.

• ✅ Approved: Your product will be approved and made available for customers to purchase.
• 🔄 Changes Required: You may be asked to update or correct certain information before approval.
• ❌ Rejected: Products that do not meet Elexbig's requirements may be rejected.

Once your product passes review and is approved, it will go live on Elexbig, and you can start receiving orders. 
You will receive an email notification when your product is approved and live, or if changes are needed.

Tip: Make sure your product images, title, description, price, specifications, and other information are accurate to avoid delays.

Common First-Timer Mistakes to Avoid

• Using ALL CAPS in the title
• Including your store name in the title
• Uploading blurry or collage-style images
• Setting the status to Pending before the listing is complete
• Forgetting to set a stock quantity
