Product Requirements and Guidelines

Every product listed on Elexbig must meet these requirements before it can be published. This guide covers all the rules your listings must follow.

Title Requirements

• Between 10 and 120 characters
• Do not include your store name in the title
• No promotional words (e.g., "Best", "Cheapest", "Sale", "Free")
• No ALL CAPS
• No emojis
• Be descriptive: include what the product is, material, size, or key feature

Description Requirements

• Minimum 50 characters
• Accurately describe what the buyer will receive
• No HTML formatting in the description field (use the editor formatting tools instead)
• No claims you cannot substantiate (e.g., "world's best", "certified organic" without proof)

Key Features

You can add up to 7 key features per product. These appear as bullet points on the product page and are one of the first things buyers read. Keep them concise and factual.

Images

• At least one image required
• Main image must show the product clearly on a white or neutral background
• Minimum 800x800 pixels recommended
• No watermarks, overlaid text, or promotional graphics on the main image
• Up to 7 images per product

Pricing

• All prices in Niara

• Reference (was) prices must be genuine and accurate

Prohibited Products

Elexbig does not allow listings for weapons, illegal items, counterfeit goods, age-restricted products without appropriate setup, or anything that violates Nigeria law. See the Policies and Guidelines section for the full prohibited items list.

Note: All products submitted on Elexbig are reviewed before they are published. Our review process checks product information, images, pricing, descriptions, and compliance with Elexbig's product listing requirements.
